24 photographs in a second or rather 24 frames per second. Basis of creating a motion picture. I was initially amused by photography in my school days. Slowly motion pictures started catching my attention. I was curious to learn the magic behind the making of different films. I ventured into cinematography, editing, and then later color grading. Motion pictures always kept me curious and amused as I kept learning. Now I have realised that 24fps might be the rule of thumb but a motion picture is essentially photographs put together in a sequence creating an illusion of flow. It can be anything and everything. The films I have put here are the ones in which I have executed the roles of co-director, cinematographer, editor, colorist, and associate director in different combinations and capacities.
