Me & Filmmaking
I’m Anand — a filmmaker, photographer, and curious observer of the world. What began as an early love for still photography gradually unfolded into a deeper fascination with motion — the way 24 frames per second can weave emotions, ideas, and meaning into a compelling story. Over the years, I’ve worn many hats: director, cinematographer, editor, colorist, and collaborator. My work spans documentaries, brand films, and educational media — for organisations like the UNDP, Google, Microsoft, and the Indian Army, as well as conservation collectives like the Nature Conservation Foundation.
From wildlife trails to urban stories, I believe visual storytelling is one of the most powerful ways to connect people with each other and with the planet. I’m self-taught, driven by instinct and discipline, and always looking to learn from those around me. Music and travel fuel my perspective, and I often find the best ideas emerge in quiet moments, or over long solo journeys. If you have a story in mind — let’s talk. Preferably over coffee.
